COE-GEET project is under FAST (Frontier Areas of Science and Technology) scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, New Delhi

At present COE-GEET is working on the following thematic areas:
- Development of Photoactive Nanomaterials for conversion of solar energy conversion and environmental remedial technology.
- Development of new generation Photovoltaics.
- Development of efficient technology for converting waste to energy.
- Development of sensors for energy and environment applications.
- Development of Alternative Fuel.
- Development of Electrochemical & Biochemical conversion methods for energy applications
- Development of high capacity and efficient energy storage system
