ENERGIEA is a Greek word. It was used first time by Aristotle to define the term energy.
The Energiea
An energy Society formed by students & faculties of Centre for Energy Engineering, Central university of Jharkhand. It was approved on 13th February 2014 by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. D. T. Khating as a student society of the university.
Educational institutes should always have a habit to keep a regular touch with the society and its people, But most of the universities are failing in doing so because whatever we teach and practice in labs remains confined to four walls. So, the society firmly believes in igniting the young minds, curiosity and understanding. It has been involved in various academic and technical events, which has deepened the roots of understanding and boosted their curiosity and innovative ideas.

Aim

It aims at providing a platform for students to plan and execute project on renewable energy for nationwide activities to promote science, interdisciplinary cooperation and technological innovations by supporting learners’ enthusiasm and creating awareness about alternate source of Energy for relating energy with other field of science and engineering. It is also dedicated towards organizing awareness program for conservation of energy and promote sustainability.
