Integrated M. Tech in Energy Engineering (IEE)
Centre for Energy Engineering offers a five year integrated M. Tech. course in Energy Engineering.The main object is to create specialist Manpower to meet the challenges of the energy sector. The course has been designed to give a student complete knowledge in both Conventional and Non-Conventional energy sector with relevant inputs from Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. In addition to this there are the core energy courses relating to renewable energy system designing and energy management. This course follows a Choice Based Credit System(CBCS), where students have a liberty to choose elective courses from other centres of the University. The centre also offers open elective courses for other centers.
Admission procedure: The admission to the 5 year integrated M. Tech course is done through Central University of common entrance Test (CUCET) held generally at the month of May in each year. The minimum eligibility criteria is 55% marks in aggregate with physics, chemistry and mathematics in 10+2.
