Centre for Education
Mission Statement
The Centre is devoted to its cause of imparting education ‘to one and all’. It in its endeavor will equip ‘to be’ teachers with the potential to preserve their cultural heritage and incorporate required changes for innovation. It will help develop leaders who can themselves initiate changes and have integrity as well commitment to their work. It will cultivate rational and scientific thinking, organizational skills and develop teaching and learning skills to be able to reach students from all socio-lingua-cultural backgrounds. |
About the Centre
The Centre for Education was established in 2013. It was done with the commitment to meet the scarcity of teachers that regularly surface in the educational scenario.
In the coming years it intends to expand and incorporate masters, research and branches of special education, tribal education, adult education.

Activities of the Centre:
• Celebrated ‘Education Day’ on Nov’11. |
• Quiz was organized on 28th Feb’2014 on the theme “fostering scientific temper”. |
• On Aug’20 National SadbhawnaDiwas was organized in the Centre. The students presented various aspects of peace education in it and paid tribute to the noble laureate who had received prizes for peace. |
• On Sept’08 on the occasion of the World Literacy Day a discussion was held on the Act of “Right of Education”. |
• On 14th September on the occasion of Hindi Diwas poems of Female Poets were read out to pay tribute to their contribution to Hindi Literature. |
• On September ’26 on the “Day of the Deaf” a departmental seminar was organized on the needs of the students with hearing impairment and how they can be included in the main curriculum. |

• The students actively participate in various activities of NAMAN Foundation (NGO): working in the field of child development. |
• The students teach the students of UNNAYAN an initiative of the Central University of Jharkhand to teach the downtrodden students in the locality. |
