Ranchi, Feb 02, 2016: Jyoti Kumari, an undergraduate student at the Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi won Gold medal in Wushu championship in the recently concluded Federation Cup Test Event, Shillong, Meghalaya.
In December, she had won Silver Medals in 24th Senior National Wushu Championship, Chandigarh. Ms. Jyoti is pursuing her Five Year Integrated Master’s programme in Environmental science at CUJ.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Nand Kumar Yadav ‘Indu’felicitated Miss Jyoti on her inspiring achievement and stated that her success would encourage CUJians to excel in every sphere of life, be it academics, sports or art.
Sports In-charge Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Rabindranath Sarma, Dr. Kalsang Wangmo and Ujjwal Chakravorty were also present during the felicitation.
