Digital India’ will lead to harmonious Bharat: Prof. Kuthiala

Ranchi, March 03, 2016: Digital India will not only lead to united India but also harmonious Bharat. Even villagers are now getting connected with optical fibers. This is going to benefit even landless farmers. These words were echoed in the special lecture of the chief guest Professor B.K. Kuthiala, Vice Chancellor, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Univeristy of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal.
He was delivering a special lecture on ‘Digital India and Samras Bharat’ at Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe Campus, on Thursday.

The lecture programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and Professor Nand Kumar ‘Indu’, Vice Chancellor, of Central University of Jharkhand, Professor S.K. Tewari, and Dr. Dev Vrat Singh, Dean and Head, School of Mass Communication and Media Technologies.
On this occasion Prof. Indu said, “Under the Digital India programme the government has a plan to make an electronic depository of all students’ academic degrees etc. This will help students in getting copies of their degrees and certificates anytime from anywhere.” 

The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Dev Vrat Singh. During the programme Deans of many schools Prof. S. K. Samdarshi, Prof A. C. Pandey, Dr. Sucheta Choudhary, Dr. Satish Kumar, Dr. Ashok Sarkar, Dr. Rabindra Nath Sarma were also present.
