Prof Kazimierz Strzalka of Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland delivered a lecture on "Molecular Mechanism of Xanthophyll Cycle-Role of Lipids" today.
Vice chancellor Prof A N Misra besides registrar Prof S Medhekar, deans, heads, and faculty members were present on the occasaion.
Students also attended the lecture in large number at the university auditorium.
