CUJ STUDENT BAGS GOLD AT NATIONAL GAMES

Jyot iKumari, an undergraduate student at the Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi won Gold medal in Wushu championship in the recently concluded 35th National Games held in Kerala. Ms. Jyoti, representing Jharkhand,outclassed Ms. AnkitaKumariof Madhya Pradesh to pocket gold in women’sTaolu event. Ms. Jyoti is pursuing her Five Year Integrated Master’s programme in Environmental science at CUJ. Prof. A.N. Misra, Vice Chancellor (Acting), felicitated Miss Jyoti on her inspiring achievement and stated that her success would encourage CUJians to excel in every sphere of life, be it academics, sports or art. Prof. S.K. Tewari, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Mr. Shivendra Dubey and Mr. Pradeep Kumar (Wushu Coach, CUJ) were also present during the felicitation.
