Mr Kim Kyung Han, Minister Counsellor, Political Section ,Embassy of the Republic of Korea, New Delhi visited Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe, Ranchi

Ranchi, 18th September 2017:Mr Kim Kyung Han, Minister Counsellor, Political Section , Embassy of the Republic of Korea, New Delhi visited Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe, Ranchi and delivered a lecture on ‘understanding Korea’s Economic Development and Changing Dynamics of Korea-India Bilateral Cooperation’ which was organized by Centre for Far East Languages. All the students and faculties of the university including students of Korean, Chinese, Tibetan, MBA and International relation attended the lecture. Mr. Kim Kyung Han was felicitated by the Registrar of the University and It was followed by Lecture of Mr. Kim. Quiz contest was also organized by the Ms. Irene A. Thomas, from the embassy. Students participated enthusiastically in the contest and won many Korean gifts. The lecture focused on the History of Korea and India relations, present economic cooperation between India and Korea and Strategic Economic partnership between the two countries. Mr. Kim also met Dean of School of Languages. Further, Mr. Kim Kyung Han had a meeting with honorable vice chancellor Prof. Nand Kumar Yadav ‘Indu’ along with the faculties Dr. Konchok Tashi, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Jaiswal, Mr. Shashi Kumar Mishra and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jha. He further discussed on the possibilities of collaborations between the University and the Embassy and mentioned about the opportunities for the students of the University by the opening of KOTRA in Kolkata.
