This is an important academic achievement for University that first Viva-voce examination for Ph.D. was successfully conducted at Centre for Indigenous Culture studies, Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe, Ranchi. The viva voce of Ms Roselima Kamei Pamei was organised on Tuesday 24/01/2017 for her thesis titled, “Gender and Customary Law among Rongmei of Manipur: An Ethnographic Study”. Prof Subhadra Mitra Channa Renowned Anthropologist from Delhi University was Examiner. The Faculty and research students and PG students from different centres and school attended the viva to mark the occasion.
