Ranchi, Mar 26, 2015: Rameez Akhtar, a fourth semester student of Central University of Jharkhand, won Gold medal in Karate in recently organized 5th Jharkhand State Karate Championship, 2015 in Ranchi.  He is pursuing Five Year Integrated Master’s programme in Mass Communication.

Prof. A. N. Misra, Vice Chancellor (Acting), felicitated Mr. Akhtar on his achievement and stated that his success would encourage other students too. He also mentioned achievement of Miss Jyoti Kumari, a student of Centre for Environment Science, who bagged Gold medal in Wushu championship in recently concluded 35th National Games in Kerala.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Sports In-charge, Mr. Ajaenga Pamei and other students were also present during the felicitation.
