Ranchi, Jan 27, 2016: Centre for Far East Languages (Korean), Central University of Jharkhand organized the musical program of Sarangi Recital in association with Society for Promotion of Classical Music Among Youth (SPIC MACAY) at Central university of Jharkhand on the evening of January 27, 2016. India’s renowned artist Ustad Kamaal Sabri cast a magical spell of Musical evening with his melodious tunes of Sarangi and later all the audience was made to indulge in the scintillating duet of Ustad Kamaal’s spellbinding tunes of Sarangi and Shri Sukhmoy Banerji’s exciting beats on Tabla. All the audiences experienced an evening of their life-time which was full of several exciting duets and musical harmony between the tunes of Sarangi and rhythms of Tabla. Not only faculty members but the students, today’s youth, were enjoyed the classical music to full extent and some students even participated. During the program Ustad Kamaal Saahab also enlightened the youth/students by explaining about Sarangi and its musical tunes.

Earlier the program begun with the lightening of the lamp by Hounorable Vice Chancellor, the Chief Guest Ustad Kamal Sabri, Shri Sukhmoy Banerji and Dr. Shreya Bhattacharji, Dean, School of Languages and it was followed by welcome speech by Dr. Shreya Bhattacharji and address by Honorable Vice Chancellor. Then the guests were welcomed with Red Roses before the magical tour of classical music was started. After stellar performance by the two genius, Honourable Vice Chancellor felicitated the guests with university memento and gifts. The program was concluded with the Vote of thanks by Mr. Mukesh Kumar Jaiswal, Co-coordinator, CFEL,Korean.

The Hounorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Shreya Bhattacharji, Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh provided their valuable guidance and support in organizing the program.  Mr. Ujjwal Kumar Chakravorty and faculty members of Centre for Far East Languages also provided their immense support. The program was successfully organized and concluded with the hard work of students of Centre for Far East Languages especially Korean.
