Ranchi, Apr 30: Vice chancellor of Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) Prof A N Misra today led the university offering condolence to a student, Dipika Sinha, who died yesterday.
A condolence meeting was held at varsity campus at Brambe this afternoon on the sad demise of Dipika, student of 2nd semester M.Tech (Computer Science, Mobile Computer) in presence of deans, faculty members, administrative staff and students.
All who were closely associated with Dipika recalled her and prayed for the departed soul observing one minute silence.

Earlier, a delegation comprising the vice chancellor and his wife Dr Meena Misra besides Prof S K Samdarshi (Dean, Engineering technology), OSD (Planning) Dr DK Banerjee, Chief Communication Officer Prasanta Bora, faculty members and students of the centre went to the cremation ground at Harmu to offer last tribute to the departed soul.
