Ranchi, Jul 12: Seven IAS probationers (2013 batch) visited the Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) at Brambe and the university’s permanent site at Cheri Manatu today.
The young officers accompanied by Dr S Srivastava, assistant director, Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA) had an interaction with deans of different schools in presence of Vice Chancellor Prof A N Misra.
Prof Misra welcoming the IAS probationers talked in brief the various activities of the CUJ. He invited the IAS probationers to visit the campus in future so that students could derive inspiration from them.
Prof S K Tewary, Prof S K Samdarshy, Prof T Ghoshal, Prof A K Sharma and Prof Jeuti Barooah gave an account of different activities of their respective centres during interaction session.
Chief communication officer Prasanta Bora presented a power point presentation on brief history of CUJ.
The IAS probationers said the tour of the CUJ was a unique experience adding the knowledge gained would help them in discharging duties better.
