Ranchi, Mar 3: Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) vice chancellor Prof Amarendra Narayan Mishra addressed all the employees—teaching and non-teaching and students in the auditorium of the university today.

In his brief address, first after he assumed charge on March 1 last, the new vice chancellor said the university is mainly for students and hoped that they would work hard to achieve their goal.

Prof Mishra said role of the faculty and administrative staff is to support the students in pursuit of their studies.

Regarding the CUJ, he said the university would always endeavor to set itself as “path maker” for others to follow.

CUJ registrar Prof A K Sharma, deans of different schools, faculty members and administrative staff and students were present on the occasion.
