Mr Ben Sakkerkelly, first secretary, Australian High Commission, New Delhi today visited Central Unicersity of Jharkhand (16th May, 2014)

Ranchi, May 16: Mr Ben Sakkerkelly, first secretary, Australian High Commission, New Delhi today visited Central Unicersity of Jharkhand.

The visit was aimed at promoting various Australian fellowships and scholarships opportunities for pursuing postgraduate, research and postdoctoral studies along with leadership, peer to peer learning, short courses etc for Indian academicians and Researchers.

Dr Sukalyan Chakraborty from Environmental Science and Engineering  (BIT, Mesra), Australian Award winning recipient delivered a presentation on Australian awards as an Australian Awards Ambassador followed by an interactive session.

CUJ Vice chancellor Prof A N Misra welcomed the distinguished guest and hoped that the session would enhance study exchange between the countries and the faculty as well as researchers would benefit from it.

Chairperson of International Study and Research Cell (ICRC) of CUJ Dr Shreya Bhattacharya moderated the session.
