 A 7-day national workshop on ‘Media Writing-2014’ began at Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) today.

Senior editor of Prabhat Khabar Anuj Kumar Sinha addressed the inaugural session of the workshop as key note speaker.

About 20 participants from different parts of the country took part in the workshop in which resource persons comprising Prof S K Tewari, Head of IMBA (CUJ); Dr Dev Vrat Singh, Dean of School of Mass Communication and Media Technology; Prof Richard Jahna; Prasanta Bora, Chief Communication Officer  (CUJ), Dr Urmil Thapaliyal, Mr Sujit Kumar and Mr Amit Kumar

Mr Sinha spoke with lucidity the nuances of media writing adding while writing one needs to keep in mind the purpose, language and facts.

“The language should be simple enough to be understood by people from all walks of life”, he said.

Prof Tewari introduced the resource persons and spoke in nutshell the concept of the workshop.
