The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) organised a cleaning campaign at its Brambe Campus as a part of "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" on Ocrtober 2.

Ranchi, Oct 02: The employees of CUJ led by Prof. T Ghoshal, I/c Vice Chancellor, CUJ, took part in the cleaning campaign.

Before the cleaning campaign, the employees took a pledge to ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in the country.  They took pledge to voluntarily spare 100 hours in a year, or two hours in a week, to clean up their dwelling, surroundings, locality city, town or village and maintain cleanliness.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Ghoshal said the Swachh Bharat Movement is a befitting tribute, which can be given to the father of the nation Mahatama Gandhi.

The message was also conveyed to the people that it is not a onetime task but should be a continuous process.
