The students of Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) today launched an awareness campaign aimed at “noise and air pollution free” celebration of Dipawali

Ranchi, Oct 20: The students of Centre for Mass Communication held placards urging to avoid crackers and also with an appeal to use earthen lamps made in the country.

Navneet Sitarehind, Ashutosh Kumar Gupta, Rohit Prakash, Nitish Kumar (VII semester), Pragya Priya, Deepti Chaterjee, Diksha Mishra (III semester) and Srijan Soudamini and Smriti (I semester) staged demonstration inside Brambe campus appealing to faculty members and students not to use crackers in a large scale.

Vice chancellor Prof A N Misra praised the students for the noble initiative and hoped that it would usher in awareness and inculcate sense of social responsibility in the young talents.
