The Centre for Far East Language Tibetan conducted an Educational tour for the Tibetan language students
The Centre for Far East Language Tibetan conducted an Educational tour for the Tibetan language students during the End-Semester break from 20th December 2013 to 6th January 2014. The main object of the educational tour was to benefit the students. Since culture being part of our curriculum, it was necessary to take a tour of Buddhist sites in and around Bodhgaya which is the birth place of Buddhism. Buddhism being major part of Tibetan culture, it was very imperative for the students in better understanding of emergence of Buddhism which will lay foundation for their overall development of perspective on Tibetan Buddhist Culture. Besides this, the students got an opportunity to meet and get blessings from His Holiness the 17th Karmapa at Bodh Gaya.
