Brief Introduction

I am working as an Assistant Professor  in the Department of Physics, Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ),Brambe, Ranchi, India. Before joining CUJ on 24th August 2012, I worked as an Assistant Professor  in the Department of Physics, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, UP during 16th January 2012 to 20th August 2012. I also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics Venketswara group of Institutions, Meerut, UP during 14th October 2011to  16th January 2012. After completing my M.Tech (Applied Optics)  from IIT Delhi in 2007 and Ph.D.(High energy Physics)  in 2011 from IIT Roorkee , I am pursuing scientific research mainly related to the  study of various thermodynamic quantities such as temperature, entropy density, pressure, speed of sound, coupling constant by developing an EoS for strongly interacting quark–gluon plasma in the framework of strongly coupled plasma with appropriate modifications to take account of color and flavor degrees of freedom and QCD running coupling constant From these equation of state (EoS) as input to estimate the centrality dependence of J/ψ suppression in an expanding, dissipative strongly interacting QGP produced in relativistic heavy-ion collisions

I am involved in teaching and training of UG, PG and Ph.D. students, and various administrative tasks assigned by the institute.

Administrative responsibilities:
  1. Member of Proctorial Board (from 2016-to November 2020)
  2. Programme officer-NSS
  3. Member of End Term Examination CUJ
  4. Department Time Table In-charge and lab in-charge
  5. Member of Admission committee CUJ
