Brief Introduction:  
Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta is Associate Professor and HoD, at Department of Politics and International Relations, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, in Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. He did his Masters from Centre for Political Studies, School of Social Sciences, and Doctorate from South Asian Studies, at School of International Studies in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has also done LLB and LLM (Business Laws) from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He taught at National Law University, Jodhpur, National University of Studies and Research in Law, Ranchi and Department of Political Studies, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya before joining CUJ in May 2020. He has published several books and over one hundred research articles on issues pertaining to foreign policy, national politics, international relations, defence &, security, terrorism, and internal conflicts in different journals and books. Prior to joining academic he also served as journalist and is an alumnus of IIMC, New Delhi.
