Brief Intro

Dr. Basheer Ahammed K. K. engaged as an Assistant Professor at Department of Geography, Central University of Jharkhand, and engaged in academic and research activities on Remote sensing, and Geospatial technologies for natural resource management. Dr. Basheer Ahammed K.K. grew up in the countryside of Kerala – India but developed a love of the outdoors roaming between the hills and shores. Following his dream and passion, he went outside the village to study Geography, but quickly got hooked on Geo Information and Coastal science. After 2 years of academic experience (M.Sc Applied Geography and Geoinformatics) in the Central University of Karnataka - India, he moved to Central University of Jharkhand - India for his PhD and defended his thesis on 17th October 2020. He is love living and working in the beautiful countryside where space science is so relevant and impactful.
