Brief introduction:  

Currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Far East Languages, Central University of Jharkhand (www.cuj.ac.in) since, 17th June, 2013. Prior to that, worked (14th July, 2008 -21st may, 2013) as an Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc), Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Delhi (www.du.ac.in). I worked (2002-2005) for PRAGYA, an NGO, Research and Development Organization (www.pragya.org) focused on sustainable development of the Himalayan region, its marginalized communities, Conservation and Promotion of Language, Culture and its sensitive Eco-system. Managing Heritage Based Projects on Sustainable Livelihood Generation and Promoting of Eco-Tourism.

Completed doctorate (alternatively, awarded a doctorate) in Buddhist Studies (Specialization in Tibetan Language, Literature & Buddhism) from University of Delhi (www.du.ac.in), 2008. Acquired Shastri Degree (extensive seven year course on Tibetan Language, Sanskrit Language and Buddhist Philosophy) from Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (www.cihts.ac.in). Primary interest is to gain deeper understanding on the Buddhist treatment (specifically of Tibetan tradition) of mind by learning about different other perspectives on the subject and to be able to apply this to broader social phenomena such as conflict resolution, peace and social harmony.
