I would like to introduce myself as Dr. Md. Shahid, a Ph.D. graduate from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, Ranchi, India. I have completed B.Sc. in Chemistry from Bangalore University, Bangalore and M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Pune, Pune. My Ph.D. thesis was entitled: “Low energy ion beam treated Hydroxyapatite (HAP) coating on alumina by sol-gel method for hard tissue implantation”. I have proficient experience in Biomaterials, Thin film coating, Surface- interface modification, Ion implantation, Corrosion, Nanohardness, Wear etc. My recent project work was to understand the mechanical and biocompatible behavior of ceramics biomaterial for biomedical application (Hard tissue implantation). I have joined Central University of Jharkhand as an Assistant Professor on 01/08/2017 and continuing till date
