Brief Introduction :  

Dr. Tapan Kumar Basantia is working as a Professor in the Department of Education, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. Previously he worked as Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya; Assistant Professor in the  Department of Education, Assam University (Central University), Silchar; and Lecturer in Department of Education (UG), Mizoram University (Central University), Aizawl. His academic works are published by Oxford University Press (OUP), SAGE, IGI Global and many other leading publishers of the world. He has guided sixteen Doctoral and ten M. Phil. Scholars. He has more than fifty-five publications in leading journals including edited volumes. He is member of many expert/review committees including the committees of IGNOU, NCTE, IKS-AICTE (MoE, Govt. of India), and UGC.
